“People are like cities: We all have alleys and gardens and secret rooftops and places where daisies sprout between the sidewalk cracks, but most of the time all we let each other see is is a postcard glimpse of a skyline or a polished square. Love lets you find those hidden places in another person, even the ones they didn’t know were there, even the ones they wouldn’t have thought to call beautiful themselves.”
Hilary T. Smith
“I go to seek a great perhaps”
Two statements that represent one sentiment – my story of my great perhaps and the postcard glimpse that I let to be perceived.
My life isn’t all daisies and secret rooftops but I will make my best to capture each moment of joy and anger that remind me, and everyone who has lived far from home, that leaving what you love behind for a dream is the greatest pursuit of life. It is the pursuit of a great perhaps.
